I would move David Davis to shadow the Treasury, and make George Osborne party chairman in place of nice-but-ineffectual Caroline Spelman. Not only is DD consistently the most effective operator on the Tory front bench, he is also a former chairman of the Public Accounts Committee so

At this time in the mess there are only two options. Nationalise or let Northern Crock go under. Poor Osborne can't call for the former and hasn't got the guts to call for the latter, so he's on a loser with this one. However, his repetitive use of "ditherer" to describe Brown was effective, so I'll only give him 5/10 overall.
